Lobo Movie

Do you know Lobo? Yep, that intergalactic bounty hunter/mercenary from the DC Comics universe. Well, Warner Bros wants to bring Lobo to the big screen. According to Deadline Brad Peyton has indeed been hired to pen a script for a live-action movie and will likely direct it. The film is currently listed for a release in 2013 by IMDb.

A look at Lobo in the Superman animated TV series:

Plot:
"A seven-foot tall, blue-skinned, indestructible and heavily muscled alien who drives a pimped out motorcycle lands on Earth in search of four fugitives who are bent on wreaking havoc and teams with a small town teenaged girl to stop the creatures."

Can't say am fan of Lobo: the guy is a crazy head, a real mad man! I guess there's still enough potential to make an anti-hero from that beast... but they will need to come up with a solid script if they want the film to succeed in theaters. Also let's hope they won't over-rely on comedy (Lobo is a kind of funny goofy freak after all) to make the character more likable.

Anyway, more information about the Lobo movie as soon as details emerge!
